“love bug” is an original typeface that was created for my Advanced Typography course. The typeface started off as hand drawn sketches that were later refined and digitized using Adobe Illustrator.

After being presented with the design brief for this project I found myself drawing inspiration from Curlz, which was my favourite typeface as a child and combined it with my favourite shape to doodle on any sheet of paper I can find. Multiple iterations later led me to creating “love bug”.
